Safe Burning Guidelines
✨
Sight & Surface
Always burn within sight. Place on a heat-resistant surface away from drafts, pets, and flammable objects.
⏱
Four-Hour Limit
Do not burn for more than 4 hours at a time. This prevents the glass from overheating and ensures a clean scent throw.
❌
The Final Half-Inch
Stop use when only 1/2 inch of wax remains. Burning to the very bottom can damage the vessel or surface mapping.
The Art of Maintenance
WICK CARE ESSENTIALS
Trim your wick to 1/4 inch before each burn to prevent excessive soot and high flames.
Always remove any debris, such as wick trimmings or matches, from the wax pool to maintain purity.
If the wick mushrooms, extinguish the flame, let it cool, and trim the buildup before relighting.
Keep wicks centered to ensure even melting and prevent the glass container from overheating.
The First Burn
The first light sets the memory for all future experiences. Ensure longevity and perfection with these essential steps.
- Surface Melt: Burn for at least 2-3 hours until the wax pool reaches the edges to prevent tunneling.
- Memory Ring: Allowing a full melt pool ensures the candle burns evenly down for its entire life.
- Stable Air: Keep away from drafts or vents to maintain a clean, steady flame during this crucial stage.

Optimal Burn
Burn for at least 2 hours but no more than 4 to allow the scent to fill the space without overheating.
Lid Protection
Keep the lid on when not in use to lock in the fragrance and keep the wax free of dust.
Proper Exit
Use a snuffer to extinguish. This prevents smoke and ensures your space retains only the candle scent.
Troubleshooting & FAQ
Uneven Burn?
Ensure your candle is away from drafts and burned long enough to reach a full melt pool. If a memory ring has formed, a longer burn may be needed to reset the wax level.
Weak Scent?
The hot throw is strongest when the wax is fully melted. For larger rooms, consider burning multiple candles. Store in a cool, dark place to preserve the delicate scent oils.
Black Smoke?
Sooting is usually caused by a wick that is too long or a draft. Extinguish the candle, trim the wick to 1/4 inch, and ensure the candle is in a still environment before relighting.
Wick Mushrooming?
Carbon buildup at the tip of the wick occurs naturally. Simply trim the 'mushroom' off before relighting to ensure a clean, controlled burn and a proper flame height.
White Crystal Spots?
'Frosting' is a natural characteristic of premium natural waxes. It does not affect the burn quality or scent throw, and is a sign of the purity of the wax being used.
